Dave's Approach

Dave is known for solving problems while having no fear of the terrain. Because he enjoys a challenge, you'll often see him taking his hat off and scratching his head. And with his many years of landscape experience in the Teller County and Park County areas, he always comes up with the right solution.

He has a unique touch of giving the homeowner what they have in mind, plus solving for other issues that might come in play with the customer's ideas. He won't build it if it could cause problems in the future.

Landscaper takes hands-on approach to his projects

Transforming a yard from ugly duckling to beautiful swan is Dave Bantly's business. The owner of Bantly's Landscaping and Design, his portfolio is an art gallery for the environment.

Filled with photographs of timber-and-boulder exteriors, flagstone pathways and rock walls, the pictorial resume glorifies the natural environment. "I do Mother Nature type landscaping on tough-to-work terrain," Bantly said.

Bantly's mission, his environmental philosophy, is to create an outdoor scene using native products such as flagstone, boulders or plants. He also does grading work, erosion control and re-vegetation.

Challenged by each new commission, Bantly enjoys not only the physical labor but the artistic creativity of beautifying a yard. "Everybody's got a different scenario, different accesses and topography," he said.
